Street theaters festival in Batumi
The Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara reports the next cultural event, which will turn the capital of Batumi to the theatrical open-air layouts. Batumi will turn into the theater capital of Georgia. Representations of street theaters of Europe and Russia will be held in the capital of Adjara in August.
For ten days from August 5 to 14, guests and inhabitants of Batumi can enjoy free to enjoy the performances of the British, French, Austrian, Spanish, Slovak, our and Georgian artists. Presentations will be held on different platforms – on the boulevard, on the territory of the colonnade, in front of the Batumi dramatic and summer theaters, as well as on the Era and Piazza squares.
Georgian theatrical creativity will present such Tbilisi theaters as the State Drama Theater them. NS. Rustaveli, State Theater Muscomedy and Drama. V. Abashidze, Pantomime State Theater, the Theater of the Young Spectator. N. Dumbadze and orauni Theater. In addition to metropolitan theaters, regional teams from Batumi and Telavi will also take part in the project, Kakheti Region. As part of the project, poetic and musical evenings will also be held.
The project is organized as part of the HEAT Batumi cultural and entertainment program, which will last until September 10, 2016. For the entire summer season, Batumi became the epicenter of concerts of Georgian and foreign performers, vocal and choreographic folklore ensembles, photo exhibitions, theater and street performances. About Adjara

Adjara is one of the most popular and beautiful corners of Georgia, located in the southwestern part, on the Black Sea coast. As an autonomous republic, it has its own flag and coat of arms.
