In the middle of summer in Spain, the sale season begins, which lasts a couple of months. In each region, the spaces are held in their time.

Asturias: July 1 – August 31, 2012
Balearic Islands: July 1 – August 31, 2012
Valencia: June 30 – September 1, 2012
Galicia: July 1 – September 30, 2012
Canary Islands: July 2 – October 1, 2012
Cantabria: July 2 – September 1, 2012
Castilla – La Mancha: July 1 – September 30, 2012
Castilla – Leon: July 1 – August 31, 2012
Catalonia: July 1 – August 31, 2012
La Rioha: July 2 – August 31, 2012
Madrid: June 21 – September 21, 2012
Murcia: July 1 – August 31, 2012
Navarre: July 1 – August 31, 2012
Basque Country: July 1 – September 30, 2012
Extremadura: July 1 – August 31, 2012

Winter sales last in Spain from January to March. In 2013, the start of sales was announced on January 7. In most regions of Spain, sales will be completed on March 6-7, with the exception of some territories: Basque Country, Castilla – La Mancha – until March 31, Galicia – until April 7, Madrid – until March 31, Murcia – until March 1, Valencia – until March 10.
