Shopping in El Salvador
Shops usually work from Monday to Saturday, from 08.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 18.00. Many food stores are open to 19.00-21.00. Traditional Siesta countries usually fall in most institutions for the period from 12.00 to 14.00, although many large trading points leave for this time in the hall somewhat replacing each other workers. Some private shops are mainly in small cities, closed for breakfast period (usually from 9.00 to 10.00-11.00) but work in this case without interruption.

You can bargain in all markets and most private shops. At the same time, the Salvadao trading technique is quite unusual – with a general low price level, sellers can affect the price themselves, and sometimes it is quite significant, or to give some product (usually fruits and vegetables) almost for almost. The trade procedure itself is not at all excite – it seems that they themselves are completely indifferent to what and for how much they sell. The explanation of this is pretty simple – some merchants come quite predictable: seeing a foreigner in front of them, they initially overshadow the price of the goods several times (sometimes this comes the entire trading row to which the tourist approaches, because there are no price tags on the same markets – all prices are discussed in words), and then calmly reduce it during trading. At the same time, the price of folk crafts is usually set pretty tough and "beat" It is unlikely to succeed.
