Melting Center "My Zeil"

One of the most vivid architectural projects of Frankfurt – shopping center «My Zeil», opened on a small pedestrian street in 2009. The appearance of the facility reminds the whirlpool, in which a rare tourist will not fall. What stores here just not – True Paradise for Shopping.

An unusual project was developed by the Italian architect Massiman Fuchsas. The peculiarity of the building consists in its roof from glass panels and metal elements of different shapes. The main entrance to the center can be compared with a black hole, which is so calling to plunge into the inner world of the unusual shopping center. Depending on which point of the building you are, everything around will be constantly changing depending on the angle of view. The author of the project played on the transparency of materials that perfectly skip daylight. The main attraction of the shopping center – his escalator who will raise and lower you 50 meters in just 2 minutes.

The total area of ​​the building reaches almost 80,000 square meters, which are compactly located many shops, boutiques, bars, cafes and restaurants. A separate place is assigned to stores specializing in electronics. This is a stunning miracle of architecture where you can find everything you need.
