Turkey City: Mugla

As a gate to the spa zone of the bay, the city is considered one of the most authentic Turkish settlements with spacious, ash trees of boulevards, colorful quarters of white houses XVIII century with tiled roofs, hooked chimneys and decorative doors, as well as picturesque surroundings.
Its attractions are considered to be a bazaar in the old residential area in the north of the city, the mosque Ulu (XIV B.), carefully restored caravansera Yagchylar Khana (now there is a carpet shop) and Konakit Khana (used as an art gallery), city museum on Yatagan Eskiser Caddesi (open daily, except Monday, from 8.30 to 17.30, entrance – 2 TRY) with a large collection of fossils and fossil remains of ancient animals.
