In the old town it is worth a visit Cathedral Sant Alessandro (XV-XIX centuries.), medieval mansions Palazzo Della Ragione (Town Hall) and Palazzo Nuovo (Biblioteca Angelo Mai) on the square Piazza vecchia, Castle of St. Vigila (Castello di San Vigilio) and Palace Palazzo Medolago.
In the old town also is the Romanesque Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica (Santa Maria Maggiore), founded in 1137. She was a place of musical education for eight centuries. The game on musical instruments was accompanied by exquisite choral singing. Two organs of the church helped local composers and musicians to create incredible music.

In Bergamo, there is own airport – Orio Al Serio Airport, they are mainly used by budget airlines. Near Milan Airport. Up Milan can be reached by rail and motorway.
