City of Greece: Alinda (Leros Island)
Lying 3 km north-west of Greece: Ayia Marina (Leros Island) Ayia Marina Primorskaya Village Alinda (Alinda) is considered the most modern resort of Lerosa.
sights
Not far from the village, at the southern end of the beach, spread Memorial cemetery, on which the victims of the battle of November 1943 are buried, when after 50 days of bombing the Nazis managed to flood the Greek battleship "Queen Olga" And British Esminets "Interpid" and take control of VBB Lakion (the last success of the German Air Force in the region). You can also visit Museum of History and Ethnography (from May to September is open from Thursday to Sunday from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 18.00 to 20.00; 3 euros), located in a Paris Bellenis mansion like a castle. Interestingly, among collections telling about the battle for the island, about its culture and ethnography, there is a whole room dedicated to the artist Kiryakos Tsakiris (1915-1998.), exiled to the island for their communist convictions.

Beach
Long and narrow alternate Alinda Beach usually first opens for swimming in the spring and the latter closes in the fall. With infrastructure here is also all right, although it is clearly focused on a relaxing holiday. Also good nearby pebble beaches Dio-lebaria and "Most Sandy Lerosa Beach" – Gurna.
