Cities of France: La Plag
Extensive La Plagne Range Zone (La Plagne, WWW.La-Plagne.COM) is located in the eastern part of the resort, on a low (up to 2500 m) ridge coming from the ridge of the peak of Belkot to the Mountain Lez-Verdon. The relief of the region is noticeably different from the neighboring – the slopes here more often (La Plagne on the Savoy dialect means "plateau") and at the bottom abundantly sworn forest. Noticeably more here and small resort villages, long descents and, accordingly, cableways. Yes, and the first ski station was built in the early 1960s, it is here, so La-Plan is considered a recognized paradist center.
Now there are 6 resort villages – Em-La Plagne (Aime La Plagne, 2100 m), a black deal (2050 m), Plagne Soleil, 2050 m), Plagne Bellecote, 1930 m), Plagne Center, 1970 m) and Plagne-1800 (Plagne 1800, 1800 m), as well as 4 mountain villages, which are used as tourist centers for most only in the summer, – Champagni en-Vanuaz (Champagny EN Vanoise, 1250 m), Montalber Plagne (PLAGNE MONTALBERT, 1350 M), MONSHAVEN (Montchavin, 1250 m) and Lez-Kosh (Les Coches, 1450).
Resorts of the La Plan region are designed for a calm family holiday – there are about 225 km of the tracks, and about 60% of them have "blue" Marking, many stations are prohibited by vehicles, and you can drive up on skis directly to the hotel, descending from simple wooded cleansing (mostly also "blue", But there are many very short and gentle descents at the bottom of the slopes). However, for more prepared skiers there are good "Red" Descents over Champagne An-Vanuaz, with Surses and Grand Rochet (Grande Rochette), "Black" Morbleu, Harakiri and Kamikaze, as well as an interesting 15-kilometer route from the Belkot Glacier to the village of Montshanven (height difference – 2 km!).
Also in the resort area there are a first-class bobslery highway, 3 fitness center (in a black deal, Plan-Belkot and Each Sentr), Squash-Hall in the Plan-1800, Rollers in Em La and Plan-Belkot, Pool in Planla-Belkota, 90 km of flat skiing, modern Capella Snowpark over the Sench Plan, Track for Bordercross over Belkight and Half Pipe over Plaglot, Fan Park in Champagni-en-Vanuad, Paragliding School and DeltaPlanenism, 17 skiing and snowboard schools, a large number of rolling points, children’s clubs and gardens, as well as ski schools for all ages.
At the same time, La Play is considered "Tikhim" The resort is only 2 nightclubs here (Le Bleu Night in Em-La and L’Hexagone in Montalber Plain), bowling in a black deal, but in return can be found 8 discos, 5 cinemas, slot machines and paintball, many Cozy bars and restaurants, as well as high-mountain restaurants with excellent Savoy cuisine. 16 large hotels opened (mostly two- and three-star) and about four dozen small pensions and chalets that can simultaneously take up to 8 thousand people.
