Vietnam City: Nha Trang
Nha Trang (Nha Trang) – a beautiful seaside resort located almost in the center of the country, in Khanjoa Province. Despite the proximity of large industrial enterprises, Nha Trang is one of the best holiday destinations in the country.
The symbol of the city is a huge statue of Buddha (Kim-Thhan-Fata, 1963.) On the top of the hill, the San Bong Bridge, Longshon Pagoda (Tin-Hoi-Khan-Hoa, or Tin Hoh, XIX,.) acting churches in Narag-Cham ("tower of crazy", VII-XII centuries.), Gothic Cathedral (Residence Bishop Nyachung, 1928-1933.), Ruins Citadel Dieenkhan (11 km west Nyacheng, 1793.), the only in Vietnam Institute of Oceanography with the best aquarium of the country, the island of Che, the picturesque Cape Honchong and Mount Nuj-Cotien ("Magic mountain"), three-stage waterfall Bahoe, "Magic source" Suo-Tien, Numerous Mineral and Mud Sources, Hanhofudong Park and Longson Pagoda (5 km north-west of the city).
Nha Trang is recognized as one of the best beach and island resorts in Vietnam. The resort area unites about 200 islands off the coast of Nha Trang, Wanfong (Van Phong) and Caman (Cam Ranh). The Ecosystem of the District is unique – up to 350 varieties of corals and so many species of fish in the local waters.
Among the islands in these waters are the most popular Hon Mun (for diving on reefs), Hon Tam (bathing in the open sea and extreme sports) and Hon Chong (climbing).
